The best of folk dances were scattered in the silver jubilee celebrations and annual festival of Shree Shankara Senior Secondary School.

Shree Shankara Senior Secondary School celebrated its 25th Silver Jubilee and Annual Function on 21/1/2023 day (Saturday) amidst great splendor, joy and enthusiasm. Honorable Dr. Ashok Tripathi (Former President Indian Medical Association) General Secretary Chhattisgarh Government Child Welfare Council was the guest of honor, other dignitaries included Adv.B. Gopa kumar President of the school, Vice President Mr. Rajendra Kumar Pillai, General Secretary Mr. Shailesh Kumar Nair, Secretary Shri K. K. Unnikrishnan Nair, Secretary Mr. Suresh Nair, Treasurer of the school Mr. K.K. Viswambharan, co-treasurer Mr. Manmohan Pillai,Principal of the school, Dr. Nitee  Singh Yaduvanshi, Vice-Principal, Mrs. Ritu Choudhary and the entire Shankara family were present. 

The event began with a grand march past welcoming the guests, guard of honor by specially trained students led by professionals, followed by floral welcome by the students and ceremonial lighting of the lamp by other eminent dignitaries.  
After that, the Principal of the school Dr. Nitee Singh Yaduvanshi presented the Annual report of the school. Scholarships and Cash Prizes were given to the meritorious students of the school by the guests. In the anniversary celebration she apprised everyone about Shree Shankara’s 27 years long journey towards excellence, Vice Principal Mrs. Ritu Chowdhary said that Shree Shankara has been steadfast and indomitable in imparting great education all these 27 years.  
The cultural program based on the theme 'Amrit Mahotsav' with the motto of  'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam' began with Ganesh Vandana, followed by vegetable dance, ribbon dance, wild life dance, Santa dance by the students from lovely primary to skilled higher secondary respectively. The cultural program was concluded with Dance, Light Dance, Qawwali, School Life, Bihu Dance, Navras Dance, Chhattisgarhi, Rajasthani, Gujarati, Kashmiri, Sarvadharma Dashavataram, Dhunuchi, some patriotic songs and finally a bang Punjabi dance.  
In making the work successful, the cooperation of the head of the institution, the Principal, the teachers and the students was commendable. At the end, a vote of thanks was given to all the parents.
