Grandparents Day has been celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Shree Shankara Senior Secondary School, Urkura. After lamp lightening and offerings to Goddess Saraswati distinguished guests and grandparents are welcomed by the students. On this auspicious occasion President of the School, Advocate B. Gopakumar Secretary, Shri Shailesh Nair and Vice Principal, Mrs. Ritu Choudhary have given their gracious presence on the stage. President B.Gopakumar addressed the students about the worth of grandparents in our life, and he also told further that they are the backbone of any family and they should always be properly taken care . In this continuation some students performed in various songs and dance, and also gave inspiring speech about grandparents. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks delivered by Vice Principal, Mrs. Ritu Choudhary.
